Processing steps
The process will follow these steps:
The initial briefing will gather information about the location, the hotel’s target audience, the desired image, the type of facility (B&B, resort, hotel, vacation rentals, etc.), and the owner’s requirements regarding the distribution of common spaces (reception, common areas, restaurant hall, etc.) and the design of the rooms. Specific needs regarding the timeline and budget for the project will also be discussed.
This refers to the study of coordinated image design based on a territorial style (mountain, countryside, lake, sea, etc.) to give character to the facility while respecting the local identity (genius loci). The style research will provide suggestions for selecting suitable colors, materials, and textures to decorate and furnish each space in a coordinated manner.
A dimensional survey of the property will be conducted to verify the current state and ensure conformity with the client’s floor plans, which may not be up to date.
The following final project graphic documents will be presented: current state, comparative project, design state, furniture design, lighting design, material schedule, custom furniture technical drawings, and project report.
This is the crucial step that will allow the owner to visualize the color and material choices through a composition of selected samples for wall and floor coverings, as well as furniture accessories.
6 realistic views of the selected spaces will be created (e.g., 2 rooms, 1 bathroom, 1 reception, 1 waiting area, 1 breakfast zone) to help understand the final design.
This will help manage timelines, supplier and contractor selection, providing accurate forecasts of costs and project management for the construction of the interiors.
Selection of 2 suppliers per type (contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) to put them out to tender and evaluate the best service, cost, and delivery times.
Consulting for the purchase of bedding for the rooms (sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, etc.) and tablecloths. Consulting will also be provided for selecting an appropriate courtesy kit.
The execution of the work will be coordinated by the artistic director to ensure that everything is done to the highest standards and according to the project timeline.
The project will be presented to the client complete with technical floor plans, moodboard, images, and renderings. Custom furniture technical drawings will also be included.
